Love is an Action: A Call to Conscious Living
We in the Shalom community have dedicated ourselves to be conscious, loving and fully alive. We will explore our individual and communal labor of love for an anti-racist world.

Returning to Flow (Shalom Room)
Sandie and Nance
~ An embodied approach to restoring the body to its natural state of fullness and ease ~
During these unsettling times, we are faced with the daily task of remembering and knowing comfort and ease in our bodies and our nervous systems.
In this session we will utilize processes that allow release, connection, expression and grounding to reconnect to the essence of our selves. Join us if only to take some time to stop and catch your breath!
Note: Please come prepared in comfortable clothing in space that allows a bit of movement.
Creative Expression (Meditation Room)
Arianna
We will be using our creativity and supplies we have at home to reflect on our experiences during the pandemic. Giving gratitude to ourselves and our support systems, gathering our learnings, and releasing whatever it is we want to let go of as we enter into this next season.
3:15pm – 3:30pm
Dancing in the Shalom Room
3:30pm – 5:30pm
Primal Moves Exploration (Shalom Room)
Kristen
Inspired by the teachings of the Mandukyapanishad – a 5th century BCE Rig Vedic text
Dance from the inside out – starting from a meditative movement exploration on the floor, progressing into movement through space, introducing sound, imagery and archetypal energies to create a soul-scape. We’ll touch into shadow, come back to the light, transform and create something completely wild, new and life-nourishing.
Exploring the Transpersonal: Co-Creating New Realities (Meditation Room)
John & Jeff
The cultural and collective stories we are living are inadequate to create the equitable, intimate and abundant world our hearts’ desire. The power and wholeness of the Transpersonal realms is necessary to provide passage through the uncertain “space between stories” where we currently find ourselves. Together we will explore what opens when the old story is released, and what emerges when we see our part in co-creating the new reality.
5:15pm – 6:45pm
Illuminating Shadow (Shalom Room)
Carrie, Judi and Beth
Using photography to begin, we will explore shadow, the known, and the unknown. Through journaling, group processes and embodied exercises we will invite each other to illuminate the full range of ourselves and what we uniquely have to offer including the grace that emerges through shadow.
Swathed In The Divine (Meditation Room)
Nina and Maeba
This year’s extreme challenges to long held beliefs, health and systems of power are unlike any in recent history. Amidst the conflicts, we long for connection and balance to co-create a loving and just world for all.
Lean into beloved community and the embrace of the Divine as we forge a path through these challenges to unveil hope and an awareness of what really matters.
No experience or defined spiritual path necessary.

Sunday Plenary Session: Shalom ~ A Hope Structure
Gerry and All
Together we will explore the shared commitment of Shalom as a Hope Structure... What does this mean to each of us individually and as an intentional community? How do we strengthen our resolve to hold Hope and Love as primary values as we navigate these unprecedented times? Your voice is critical to this exploration.
We will conclude the weekend with a process of Weaving our Intentions (gathered throughout the weekend) into form and shared commitment as we move forward as a community.
The event will conclude by 1:00 PM on Sunday.
Special Note: Living Room will be open for casual visits in between sessions.
