Are you a religious organization?
Shalom Mountain is devoted to the spiritual journey, but we are not an institution that espouses one way to the Divine. All psychological and spiritual paths are honored. We firmly believe that there are many paths to the Divine. We firmly believe that only with spiritual disciplines can our souls soar free. By unblocking energy we are able to claim our joy, our passion, our sexuality and fully embody the Divine in our daily lives.
What kind of accommodations do you have and what should I bring?
We have semi-private and private rooms. Each room has a sink and there are shared baths on each floor. We provide linens, pillows, blankets and comforters. You should bring personal toiletries, a towel and washcloth and a journal.
We cannot guarantee a private room. However, if you need one due to special physical limitations, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you.
What kind of food is available?
We offer wholesome, healthy, home cooked meals. Each meal generally consists of protein, vegetable and/or fruit, starch and dairy. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know and our cooks will do their best to meet your needs. If you have a highly specialized diet you may need to bring your own food to supplement what we provide.

What are Shalom Retreats?
A Shalom Retreat® is an intensive growth experience set in a loving and supportive community. Shalom Retreats® are based on what the great teachers have taught about love. Please read our page on Shalom Retreats® for more information.
Who can come to a Shalom Retreat?
Everyone is welcome to attend a Shalom Retreats™, however Shalom Retreats™ are not necessarily suitable for everyone. The work is emotionally and sometimes physically intense. Generally the work requires good physical and mental health. If you are in therapy we recommend that you share with your therapist information about the retreat before coming and notify your therapist if you decide to come.
How do I sign up for a retreat?
If this is your first time here, we recommend having a conversation with someone from our staff. You can call us at (845) 439-1385. Otherwise, you can go to the event you're interested in and follow the registration instructions. Registering requires a deposit.
Can I rent your facilities to offer my own workshop?
Our calendar is largely filled with our unique offerings. Rental opportunities may be available for like-minded work. We welcome networking with other therapists, healers, groups and organizations. Please call us if you’d like to discuss these kinds of opportunities.
