Matt Gingerich
Matt Gingerich (he, his) am a loving husband, father of two young boys, VP Sales for a tech company and CrossFit trainer. Needless to say, life is plentiful and also provides plenty of opportunity for introspection, personal growth and the need to continue seeking how to live as my truest and most loving self. I was introduced to Shalom by my wife's (Carrie Ross-Gingerich) parents and retreat leaders Sandi and Gerry Rumold many years ago. Since attending my first retreat, the couples retreat in October of 2018, I seek every opportunity I can find to engage with the community and have returned to the mountain several times for couples and men's retreats.
Personal work on the mountain has opened me to a whole new level of exploring who I am, who I want to be in the world and how to bring the best version of myself to positively impact others. This work, as well as other practices of mindfulness and personal growth, have had a profoundly positive impact on my life and relationships. Joining the board is an opportunity to give back to the hope structure that is the Shalom Mountain community for all of the gifts that you have given to me. I will serve humbly, passionately and with a keen focus on ensuring our beloved community continues to provide a positive impact on us as individuals, so that we can collectively bring that impact to the world for many years to come.
