Michael Marino is a lifelong seeker. He has been deeply connected to spirit, nature, place, community, and service from a young age. He graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from Brooklyn College. He is an International Society of Arboriculture certified Arborist, and works in New York City with ornamental horticulture, native forest restoration, and urban forestry.

Michael joined the Shalom community in March 2022. Through his personal growth work at Shalom he has found a deep rooting in his genuine self, and an inspiration to enrich the Shalom Community as much as it has enriched his life.
